Playwright vs Playwrite

I often see people incorrectly write the term playwright as playwrite.  There is a difference that should be understood.  A playwright, is someone who writes plays, crafts dramas.  In fact, the suffix 'wright' means 'one who works with'.  A playwright, is one who works with plays.

I had to have that cleared up for me a while back. We're like a wheelwright. A skilled profession. Oh, that sounds good. I also like it if we play right together.
